We ship internationally. The prices you see are shown with the VAT applicable to your location. If you live in the UK, prices will be including VAT. If you are from outside the UK, VAT will not be shown nor charged. So EU customers pay no VAT in this shop, but have to expect to pay import duties.
Custom couplings to replace the standard N gauge couplings of the Kato drives. Will couple with the hoop couplings of 00-9 Peco, Heljan, H0e Minitrains, H0e Egger-Bahn, H0e Jouef, H0e Tillig and other hoop compatible model trains.
Will fit the following Kato models:
11-105
11-106
11-107
11-109
11-110
11-030 (bogies)
It's very easy and fast to swap the coupling.
Content:
Choose from 2 or 10 couplings.
To replace the N gauge couplings:
For the 11-105, 11-106 and 11-107
The powered bogie can easily be pulled out and the coupling can be lifted out and replaced. By the non powered bogie, I find it easiest just to bend the coupling downwards to replace it. The bogie doesn't need to be removed.
For the 11-109 and 11-110:
Just turn the original coupling 90 degrees towards the bottom and it will jump out. Careful if you want to keep the tiny spring, but that is not needed anymore. Insert the new coupling and press the box that holds the coupling back onto the model.
Tramfabriek & Son
Luc and Sven van der Hart
My name is Sven van der Hart (1970) and live in Eton Wick in England. I started designing the first small model steam tramway locomotive in 2012, as it wasn’t available at that time. Initially it was only for myself, but very soon people discovered that I was making this very detailed loco, and even before it was finished, the first orders came in and the Tramfabriek was born.
For my modelling, I needed specific parts which were hard to find. The parts I couldn't buy, I had made. As I wasn't the only one who was looking for those parts, I shared them on my webstore. With those parts, the customer base started to grow and it became a full time business.
Feel free to contact me if you have a question. I normally respond very quick (remind me, if you didn’t receive an answer in three days, I get a LOT of email).
Regular updates on model building, all my other creative inspiration and behind-the-scenes photos you can find on my Facebook page.
